Where is my data stored?
On your phone. Your clients, your rates and your earnings never leave it: no account, no server holding your figures. The only things that leave are anonymous usage statistics (you can turn them off in Settings), crash reports and your subscription status, never an amount or a client name. The Privacy Policy has every detail.
Do I need an account?
No. Merit needs no account and no sign-in, shows no ads and does no tracking.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, from the subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account. Cancel during the 7-day trial and you pay nothing.
iPhone or Android?
Both. On iPhone the counter lives in a Live Activity and the Dynamic Island; on Android, in a live notification. The home-screen widget is on both.
I bill several clients, at different rates.
That's covered: each client has its own rate (hour, day, month or year) and currency, and you can have several in the same day.
